This is the first character I ever brought further than level 60. She is my nightelf huntrees by the name of CheshirePuss who is specialized in beast mastery.

I truly love her…

About this scene: I drew her while she calms down her shadowsabre (by the name of Mad Hatter) who wants to protect his misstress from every evil he sees themselves confronted with.

I was inspired to do this unusual piece after thinking about the gender-situation in World of Warcraft. I noticed, to be honest, that seriously no homosexual love exists in the World of Warcraft.

Being myself bi-curious I decided that this couldn’t be right.

About this scene: This picture is dedicated to Isuna (a DeviantArt companion of mine). Her favorite character by the name of Arlirrethil is shown here in a passionate situation with a Troll from Stranglethorn-Vale.

It is called “Lux” which is a latin word that means “light”.

About this scene: Those two are surrounded by the light of their love. Well, maybe it’s also their Powerword: Shield as they both are Priests.

As you may already have noticed I offer individual portraits of you as/with your favourite character or whatever you imagine…

As this site is really new and I didn’t have that many costumers yet I’m giving this month a special offer:
The first one to order a pic gets 100% on the starting price. The second gets 90%, he third gets 80% and so on. The postal charges would still be on you but the rest is on me (if you are first… )

This is how it works for you:

Write an Email to me (aggroarts@googlemail.com) and describe your idea, which size you want, which background you’d prefer and the date when you want to have it.
I’ll write you and tell you which rank you have (if you’re first, second, third, …) and I’ll also tell you what I think of your idea.
If you are still okay with the deal you send me photos or screenshots that I’ll need for the drawing.
You will have to pay me half of the price in advance (if you have to pay anything at all…) plus the postal charges. (I have to do this as some “customers” didn’t pay at all and I did all the work for nothing).
I will send you photographs showing the progress I’m making with your pic. This way you know that I’m not scamming you and you can also add new ideas or tell me if you want something created differently.
As soon as I’m finished I’ll send a final photograph to you per mail and you’ll tell me if you’re okay with it. If you are I’ll send it off the next day.
When it arrives you’ll pay the other half and we’ll happily ever after.

Facing a Great New Year 2010

I’m sure next year will be great – not only because of Blizzard’s new World of Warcraft Add-On Cataclysm but also because all the great pictures there are left to draw.
So next year here will be a little more of everything. More drawings, more sketches, more Bloodelves, Orcs, Draenei and, of course, Worgen and Goblins…. Maybe I’ll even overcome my writing-dullness and make a few more entries…

The Mysterious Worgen

Finally the first female worgen have arrived on Aggro-Arts. Of course, those two women (or may I say bitches?) are figments of my own imagination and slightly inspired by the male worgen I saw in Keep Shadowfang.

I think the female worgen are less massive than the males reminding one of a fox sneaking soundlessly through the undergrowth.

As you might see in my drawings they are slender and delicate but of a moody personality. This might be because worgen are not an ancient race like the nightelfs but were once men who were turned into worgen not unlike the undead.

Draenei: The Slavic Invasion

The Draenei are a strange people – and they know that. They gave themselves the name “Draenei” which means “The Exiled” in their language.

Being on the move for centuries to escape Sargeras Burning Legion they saw many worlds and a lot of misery. They follow the path of light which makes them deeply spiritual and wise creatures – most of them long to join the Army of the Light one day and therefore they make good paladins and even better priests.

I love drawing draenei because they are so very unusual and fascinating at the same time – both in anatomy and personality.

Their slavic accent (at least in the german edition it’s a slavic accent – I don’t know about the english) emphasizes this very good.

This naughty draenei girl joined Aggro-Arts this afternoon.

The Orcs on Aggro-Arts

Being by far the most prominent horde people of the classic mode of World of Warcraft the orcs caught me both as gamer and as artist.

Not being exactly pretty they have an own aesthetic not unlike Star Trek’s Klingons.
They are a rough and strong tribe who lives in spartan circumstances – not because they are too stupid to be “civilized” – they prefer the hard way of living because only this way they can make sure that only the strongest sons and daughters will survive and their tribe will not become weaker with the time like the humans and gnomes but become stronger and tougher than ever.

The only thing that might be stronger than an orcs biceps is their sense of honor. An orc would rather die than come back to his tribe after he lost a fight to an opponent.
They can’t and wouldn’t live in shame because every thing they do doesn’t count for their own merit but for the whole tribe’s.
This is exactly what makes the orcs a very interesting people to study and to draw because with every line you draw you’ve got to make sure that they don’t appear weak but vigorous and honorable.

Embittered and Beautiful

The Bloodelves are one of the youngest races in the World of Warcraft.
They are a fascinating people whose magical hunger cannot be stanched by the natural magic of the elements – they often have to hunt demons down to consume their strong magic. (This is, by the way, why their eyes have a greenish glow.)

In some of the pictures I drew I want to show the bloodelves’ ambiguous way of thinking and feeling in their deep faces.
They still feel connected to the world and nature as the original highelves did whom they decent from but they also have to use and exploit all magical power (nature offers) they get hold of to satisfy their magical addiction.

Being torn between these two longings they have to find a new and difficult path.
