The Artist

Hi, my name is Denise.

I was born on the 8th of July in 1988 near Cologne, Germany.

In my kindergarten days I already discovered and developed my special affection for drawing animals and people. In fact, my favorite kindergarten-teacher had to take home about 20 pictures a day to feed her trashcan, I guess.

Denise Busch (Author: aggro-arts.com)In school later on I kept drawing and I also taught the other students how to draw. My job-intentions were clear: I wanted to become an artist.

A few years later when I was about to graduate at my local high school I gave up those wonderful plans being depressed about the cruel reality that just wouldn’t let me be happy with a job I like. I was too afraid of ending up under a bridge having nothing but a bachelor of fine arts.

So I decided to study pedagogy. That was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and always being reminded by my unsatisfied thoughts about studying itself and teaching students things they didn’t really need or want to learn I quit studying but kept being a student.

Of course I was still quite talented in arts and I loved sitting there for hours and drawing pictures with my pencil as naturalistic as possible, but it took a lot of encouragement from my companion to start drawing pictures as profession. I didn’t even know WHAT to draw for gain without being bored of the drawing subject after half a year.

On day while I was brushing my teeth it struck me like a lightning. I would draw World of Warcraft characters.

I started to play this awesome game some time ago being skeptical at first when my companion (who designed this website) got himself a free test-account. Seriously: I was afraid he would not have had time for me anymore! But soon I created my own character (a female Nightelf druid called “Ultratitte”) and liked the game at once. Today I’ve got seven characters of all classes and races and really love to play World of Warcraft. I never knew a game so perfect to get lost in.

World of Warcraf characters seem to be a strange subject of drawing at first but if you take a closer look, it just is perfect. Not only is World of Warcraft the most famous and successful online-role-play, it is diversified, gripping and – as the name already mentions – a whole world in itself that keeps growing and growing.
