Wow Azshara the Naga Witch

One day I just wanted to draw something different than Orcs, Elves and so on. So I browsed the
history of World of Warcraft and stumbled across the history of the Naga.

Apparently they were high-elves once before they were towed into the deep waters of the ocean were they mutated through magic and became those embittered fish-creatures they are today.

The highest of the high-elves was the beloved Azshara whom every night- and highelf spoke of in deep love and admiration. She was an able and noble witch until she began to mistrust everyone except her closest high-elf servants and longed for more and more magical might.

One day this longing tore the world apart, making one continent two (The Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor) and leaving in the middle the dangerous maelmstrom where Azashara and her servants were sucked into to become the Naga.
