WoW Ghosthealer

This was the first World of Warcraft picture I ever drew. I chose this one to start my new project because I never was so astonished playing a game as in the moment I died the first time in World of Warcraft. I had never experienced such an elegant way to tread the subject of death inside a game not seeing death as the end but as a completely different aspect of life including the chance to get back again.

Because this was such a remarkable moment I linked it with my first try of selling art, too, hoping that this would be just another side of life I hadn’t yet experienced.

I created a dark background for this subject for death is known as a “dark” subject (dark doesn’t mean evil necessarily – it rather means unknown). But the ghosthealer is surrounded by her curative “light” aura.
